The ideal candidate for this role possesses the following attributes:

  • 4 years SMB-midmarket-mid enterprise closing sales experience.
  • Cybersecurity software experience – more the better – will look at min 2 years cyber + 2 years mid-market SaaS.
  • New business hunter profile
  • Sales training – MEDDPICC etc.

The Role:

As a Mid-Market Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in the growth and success of our organization. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Demonstrating an intimate understanding of our solutions and their value to customers.
  • Leading all aspects of the sales cycle, from uncovering opportunities to closing new business in white space territories.
  • Maintaining a high volume of activity, including outbound calls, emails, and social selling.
  • Consistently meeting or exceeding quarterly sales quotas in alignment with our values.
  • Maintaining accurate pipeline management with expert-level forecasting.
  • Collaborating with our partner ecosystem to optimize market opportunities.
  • Comfortably selling to senior-level executives, navigating multiple decision-makers, and overcoming potential blockers.
  • Quickly establishing trust with stakeholders and building multiple champions within an account.
  • Creating formal and informal presentations to partners, peers, prospects, and customers.
  • Familiarizing yourself with industry threats and criminal activity.
  • Learning, embracing, and implementing multiple sales strategies and methodologies.
  • Winning a high volume of businesses in the mid-market that will have a direct impact on our success.

Reporting to: CRO

Markets: Mid-market is defined as sub 5K – horizontal industries however areas of success/focus would be Universities/Colleges, retail, FMCG, financial institutions, insurance to name a few

Level of Negotiation: CISO, Security/information security professionals

Territory Covered: USA wide.

Average Order Values: Between 10K to 80K ACV

Typical Sales Cycles: 3 months up to 6 months

Onboarding Information: Support from UK BDRs and SE in the US

Working Location: Remote US wide
